Mapping The U Drive (Windows)
It seems there are some issues at times connecting to the U drive.
In previous times I believe the U drive was mapped to SigUKDC1/work$ , this is no longer the case and in fact both DC1 and DC2 have been switched off and are no longer in use.
The correct Mapping for the U drive is //sigukfs/work$
When remote from the office and/or on BYOB Wi-Fi, you will need to ensure your VPN is running (Sophos for Windows AND TunnelBlick for Macs), before you can connect to the U drive.
Attached is the procedure for re-mapping the U drive, should it not be working, on a Windows machine.
